The Details (Part 3 of 3)

So this will be the place where we remind ourself of the details learned so far:

• We get to this blog by going to lotsofissues.com. We will also use manymags.com, but will temporarily just point it over here.
• If we are not logged into WordPress.org at the time under this particular ID from a previous session we will get a login screen if we go to the loi.com/wp-admin and login with a..n and a password which is probably ULT8 not ULT8+!
• We get 40G of space which could hold 30,000 pictures at 1.7M each, but the goal will be to get them discussed here first, before supplementing eBay.
• There are hundreds of options here that I don’t know how or whether to use yet. I can start listing them as sub-bullet points under this heading.
• Find the FTP default location for storage
• Find the exact URL to address each picture
• Find the URL to push wp media into the media folder
• Find out if galleries can be greater than 1 meg/pix
• Find out if subfolders available in wp media
• Download the template and start with two items
• Otherwise go to plan b which is the use of 30 to 50 drafts at a time.
• Mark how to get to the Cpanel
• Mark how to get to teh Softaculous
• Move these blog files to teh background so only I can see them
• Move the manymags site to point to this one, or get it over here for more experimentation by repointing the DNS servers.
• In any case, do not send any more mags out without the notice in there.
• The login to hostgator is do.yh and the pw is prob ULT8+! pin wholly new thyme.
• Don’t know what 64426 means

• Note that the domain was only paid for for one year, I will be billed next year on 4/30/21 or made to discover it myself.
• Note that the lock on the domain will be billed again at end of year, I can also turn it off in time and not have to pay?
• Might need to doublecheck the shared cert for https, especially if it becomes a problem for the site to speak with ebay or shopify.
• NS8373.HOSTGATOR.COM NS8374.HOSTGATOR.COM are teh two nameservers for dns
• The expiration date for the SSL is in July, so let’s have all these up there by then and then turn it off if it can work that way. I turned autorenew off since it works ok until 7/30 as it is, and it might just charge me. Find out if this turns into a problem with partial ssl and partial traffic not ssl.
